Silk Air Direct Entry Requirements.

For future reference, would anyone know if Silk Air has any fixed direct entry minimum requirements? Do you have to have an Airbus type rating or will other jet time do?
I've written in to them (Ganapathy) but never got replies.

Anyway, I heard they take in Direct Entry F/O especially with Airbus Type Rating. Other than that, I also heard they signed an agreement with SFC. They'll take in Cadet Pilots from there !

I might be wrong, but, anyone who has an idea leave a message. It sad to see some topics left unanswered !

Why would any sane person remotely want to consider Silk Air as a F/O??? Only ex pax Captains required and it helps if you are a Serb!!

I had a couple of friends got in to Silkair undergone training in Singapore Flying College as mentioned by Hermie. You have to go through more or less the same selection process as those for SIA cadets. Hence, might as well go for the "mother fleet"???
