CPL training, where? USA or home

I am thinking about going to US to get my CPL but i here that ground traing there is weak. Is that true?
Am i better of getting a CPL here at home in thailand? ground training here is about a 1000 hrs total. comments, suggestions???

If I were you, I would go the Australia and get my CPL with Instrument Rating.

well, it depends on your goals after attaining the CPL. if you have a job lined up in Thailand after you get the licence, i would go the Thai route. if you're thinking of building hours as an instructor first, go the American way. The Australian licence is good but getting an instructor's position (and the students) is not as easy as if you were in the US.
