View Full Version : SIA is to blame.................

SIA is to blame for
1. displacing innocent wannabees from their wonderful homelands, made them sign a hefty bond and trained them to be jet pilots.
2. making life miserable for these people by making them work up to 900 hours a year.
3. culturally torturing these people to have enough experience so that they could leave for greener pasture when the market picked up.
4. thinking anyone would really want to honour the absurd bond anyway. This is the real world, man. Honour is dead. It is to deceive or be deceived.
5. making perfectly contended G.A. pilots into heavy jet pilots, who otherwise would have never had the misfortune in their life to fly big jets.
Gentlemen, you are very correct to say that SIA and Singapore are both stupid and ignorant. How could they not have learned all the mastery of lies, misinformation and deceit from you? They live in a dreamworld detached from the realisation of disgruntled ex-SIA pilots who are wise to the ways of the world.
Shame on you SIA. You should kowtow to all these wise gentlemen who know between right and wrong and beg them to be your masters in life.

asianpilot - there is no need for brash sarcasm when it comes to defending SQ and the Republic of Singapore. Accept the fact that people are all different and have their own likes and dislikes.Imagine how boring this forum would be if we all agreed on the same things.
You have a wonderful country, not without it's faults, but there is no country in the world that doesn't subscribe to that. Singapore Airlines is one of the biggest and best in the world, operating out of, arguably the best airport in the world.(certainly in the Asia/Pacific region.) Life is full of "knockers" my friend, don't let them wind you up to the extent where you might say something you may regret in reflection. Keep the faith Mate !!

Sorry Whiskery - I do recall the good old days of SQ and how the crew room resembled that of the TAA and AN ! We must have joined years apart.(think it could be JW 1990 still going strong?) I was in the school of 1982 and all you pricks came up to SQ after being kicked out of Oz. In SQ we wanted a 22% pay rise, you guys wanted 29% (if my memory serves me well - old Bob Dylan classic!) You all came up "en masse" and that was the end of our pay rise. Yet we were not allowed to go down to the "God's Own" and get your pay rise. My first and last contribution Whisky so don't get your knickers in a knot, just can't understand why you are flying the flag for SQ ????

Well I'll be ..............
The old saying what goes around comes around!
I am not flying the flag for SQ old Mate - yes - I know who you are and you are correct in mine !! Barrel Pub on a Friday night and Poms are welcome !!!!!!
I did genuinely enjoy my time at SQ and loved Singapore. Those chilly crabs and Tiger beer on the East Coast Parkway on a Friday night - EXCELLENT!!!!!!
I know your feelings about the place - BUT you never jumped ship and you stuck to what you agreed to in the beginning !! All this bond garbage and boycotting SQ over Lee's policies is pussy !!!!! ! Will be in London on the 7th April - see you @ the Three Maggies (LHR) at 1900hrs you old pr*ck !!
Will be on our favourite pokie machine.

Well, there you go asianpilot, in spite of a blatant attempt to windup the troops, you've succeeded in re-uniting Whisk[er]y and Dirty Dick....have one for me lads....I too remember back to the same time with fond memories. Byshore [that IS how it's pronounced, isn't it??!!] Park barbies, satays at the Hawker Centre....and great SQ inflight meals, better than any before and since.
Sorry asianpilot, looks like you're outvoted on this one.

Aww man youve brought back all the great days of Singapore that I spent with the rest of you b@stards! Saxaphones. Orchard Towers with all those babes! (what was that pub place there called?) "Anywhere"? And who remembers Cecils joint under the Paramount? Remember old Cecil? Is the old bugger still there? Cecil used to relate wonderful stories about a previous Aussie intake batch and its infamous legends!
Sh!t thats right. Cec related a story once that in front of the Paramount (facing Katong side) there was an outside Chinese eatery where this infamous batch used to grub down in the evenings during ground school days. Anyway every night theyd notice these horney little SPGs enter a nearby lift for purposes unknown. One night one of the batch spat the dummy and they ALL went upstairs to see whats going on.
They found a nice bar lounge with the SPGs wandering around but very little patronage. They ordered a round of beer and someone copped a bill - something like $80 a beer! One of the boys imediately went ballistic and told the publican he can stick his pub up his @rse and they all marched out!
Next day the truth apparentley emerged - The $80 included the beer and a blowjob! Heh heh! So the boys went back next night crying and slobbering to the owner to be forgiven! Apparentley he was unimpressed and booted the whole contingant out! Cec never mentioned if they ever eventualy got back in! http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/tongue.gif
Oh and thanks Asianwhatever for kicking off this GREAT post!
