I've heard that SQ pilots' medical requirements are pretty strict especially on the eyesight issue. Is this true? Can anyone please tell me what is the estimated cost of getting a Class 1 Medical locally in Singapore and does it means that if one is wearing contact lenses or spectacles, the chances of being selected for Cadet pilot would be very slim as compared to those candidates who have perfect eyesight!!!
