a question to you guys that have some knowledge regarding luftfartsverket in sweden!!!

I'm planing to start doing my JAA exams through oxford or bristol don't know yet, but once I'm done I need to do a CPL skill test and a ME/IR test. I fall into this category.

So, my question is once I finish this exams in UK, do I have to take my skill test in UK as well or can I just do the skill test in another JAA country (Sweden in my case).

Does it realy matter where I do it!!

thanks

Hi,
You must do the ATPL-Theory, CPL/IR/MEP in the same country.
Call luftfartsverket in sweden, because you may apply for training i different countries if you have a good reason to do so.

Good luck!

I know of two guys who went to court to get LFS to accept their ATPLexams from another country. They won. However I think that you, as nordicflyer says, need to call LFS and check with them. I dont think they are so thrilled about the whole proces.
Why do you want to do want to take the exams in UK and the skill tests in Sweden?

I did ATPL-theory in USA, though in co-operation with Atlantic Flight Training in Coventry,UK.
I also did the CPL skill test in US with examinator from british CAA, when I came back to Norway I did my ME/IR here. No problems at all as long as you follow the rules of your country:)
