Far East forum is where Capt.PPRuNe wants very long posts.
All court documents, legaly public information, from Singapore Airlines vs. Gladiator in the United States Federal Court will be published very very soon on the Far East forum. (I would post them now but I have a week off and I want to go water skiing).
I am talking about serious laundry folks. The public has the right to know what is going on in the world with aviation safety.
Hard copies will be available to anyone, anywhere in the world.
Stay tuned.

"give me strength oh Lord" - how about a song instead
Oh Lord its hard to be humble
When you're Whiskery every day
I cant wait to sit at the computer
Its the only way to have my say
To know me is to loathe me
I must be one hell of a scam
Oh Lord its hard to be humble
When youre just a worn out sad old man
watch for the lightning!!

Don't give up your day job Gladys, that piece wouldn't rate a place on the back door of a public lavatory at the local footy ground.

Whiskery you are starting to act like Kenny Naboo. Insults in the place of discussion are product of character disorder.

Gladys, for someone who professes to dislike pissing competitions, you don't do a bad job when you are on the MAT !
You still haven't written to Dudley - I don't think I shall need to worry about performing at the Three Maggies.

Read in one of your posts that in your case against SIA..settlement had been made or agreed to..or words to that effect..
Just one question...Did Gladiator pay settlement to SIA or did SIA pay settlement to Gladiator..??

Crockett. Welcome back. Repeating a previous post:
SIA's legal bill in the USA would have been at least US$50,000. The man hours spent internally on the cast at SIA would have to be another US$50,000. Gladiator's original offer was probably in the region of US$50,000 as well.........US$150,000, or roughly S$320,000 which was the amount of the original contract. Judging from Gladiator's exuberance, he probably paid a tenth of that. As Gladiator said, he is bound by a lengthy non-disclosure document.
As I see it, the score is roughly Gladiator 10:SIA 1.
I hope they are getting ready for the next good kicking!!!!!!!!

Crockett nice to hear from you. The settlement is 13 pages. Basically I am not allowed to tell. Why? Well it should not be hard to figure out.
Here is what I am allowed to say:
THE MATTER HAS BEEN RESOLVED UPON MUTUALLY ACCEPTABLE TERMS.
The whole court documents from A to Z (public information) will be posted shortly.

Sounds as though you're about to lose a sizeable sum too, Titan.
You guys really have got too much money, haven't you!!
And just think, SIA will be able to offset all their costs against their tax bill, as employee incurred losses.
Once again, Singapore Airlines must be laughing all the way to the bank, thanks to you boys!! :) :) :)

What is the reason that you are not allowed to tell? I know it's probably legal mumbo jumbo but basically is it a face thing or is it that you have maybe been let off a chunk by agreeing not to dispell some of the reasons?
I'm sure they (SIA) and other SIA employees would not be keen to go though what you've been through over the last few years.
Good luck mate even if you decide not to answer this.

Kaptin M, how did you manage to earn enough money to buy the computer you type from with such in infintesimal understanding of finance??????!!!!!!!!
Have you ever paid tax? Do you know the difference between gross, net and disposable income.? Do you know what the Singapore company tax rate is?(not that it makes much difference)
You are not qualified to drive a shopping trolley little own earn an income.
Enough of this dribble!!!

No, Tits, I've never paid tax!
So whom does that make the one with the [quote] "infintesimal (sic)...try infinitesimal...understanding of finance"???!!
Oh, and a quick English lesson, as you probably can't afford them, after paying your dues to SQ..."...little own a shopping trolley" should be "..let alone..".
But keep trying, practice makes perfect.

In case of my own settlement documents..we also were not allowed to disclose information contained therein..
What happened next...The airline called a press conference and told the entire world anyway..They must have thought it was good PR practices..
So in essence, the document was not worth the paper it was written on..

titan, you have done it AGAIN! Are you REALLY a pilot?
Gladiator

As in the case of Singapore Airlines vs. DeMarco it became evident that the reason we cannot tell is so the airline/Singapore government can put out whatever misinformation they choose (Is that a surprise).
I was still in Singapore when it was announced on Singapore evening news followed by article in FI that pilot Mike DeMarco lost in US court to SIA to the tune of just over US $200,000.
Upon examination of court documents (public information in the US, anyone can access them)it became clear that the two parties came to a mutual agreement and that there was no judgement from the court.
The Singapore system never tells the truth within the walls of the Rock. That should clear that.
My agreement to shut up is 13 pages. Can you imagine 13 pages.
Please let me tell. I hope to continue in court with SIA once we publish our book. This time there will be no employment contract in the way of carrying the message of air safety to the paying public.
The public have the right to know.

Gladiator/Titan et al. May I suggest that you are being very subjective and that the rest of the aviation world, (where your sort of problems are a daily event), don't actually care?
Damsel, well said, someone who has had more than a 'five-minute-experience' with SQ, don't be intimidated by any cheauvinist, keep "Clicking The Mouse".
