Well, someone has screwed up....
Not one but double engine failure on approach to Subang. Thank goodness a good emergency landing in the jungle was done so all 5 occupants walked away. Will be interesting to see the DCA report eventually.

The pilot flying was the former Director General of the Department of Civil Aviation, a qualified lawyer, engineer and keen recreational pilot. When they got the problem, he passed the controls to his instructor. He did a good job force landing the powerless aircraft. No fatalities, combination of skills and luck.

The DCA always investigates all accidents involving flying machines.

The newspapers will report on the DCA findings, however we'll never know how accurate or truthful they really are. Yup, Hermie I did see your reply on the Cabin Crew forum. Good Luck.

Rumors also going around that somebody shut down the wrong engine. Can't prove it though.

Anyway, they r screwed bunch of peepol. Having 2 engine failure at the same time. Sound like MAS, having loss of engine oil at the same time on the cripple777. Or was the Cessna 402 pilot adopt MAS fuel policy, just like the 747 operation into LHR. Or was it the other way round???
