Quick Q.
AFTER being notified of a duty for later that day/evening- is there a requirement to answer crew control should they phone again BEFORE your notified/accepted duty starts?
Book references??
Cheers:confused:

To me if they have given you a new duty then its like a flight on your roster, i dont answer my phone on a day of duty as if thats the case it usually means they want to change it, or the flight has been delayed, still i dont think there is any requirement in the books to answer the phone, just show up and if there is a change, well, you can sit in dispatch on airport reserve for 30mins...i have done that before!!

If you look on your roster after they change it from res to a duty they list the res time as from when it started to when they notified you of the duty, so effectively you are no longer on res the way i see it!
You are resting for the upcoming duty!
