freeview radio to mp3

I have some BBC radio recorded on DVD via freeview. Anyone know how I can get these onto mp3 or cd.
In the old days I could use cassette straight from the radio. Progress!!

I presume you used a DVD recorder, so if you finalise the disc and shove it in your PC, then use a handy little piece of trial software and a tutorial like this:

you should have no problems.

Thanks shunter, did try it but I could not get it to download. Googled up a few other similar programs but they were the same. Oh well Suzi Q will have to wait!.
