Afghanistan sitrep

Hi all,

Anbody got any gen or advice regarding flying in Afghanistan these days. Situation in Kabul / security / Ariana airlines seem to be the best option for contract pilots getting into/out via DXB.

Weighing up an opportunity there. Just not sure if it's 'to die for' http://avcom.co.za/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif but nothing ventured nothing gained.

Try posting on the military forums as well. Should be able to get some decent up to date info on the security situation from the guys in uniform.
