Starting a new thread, for those based in the UAE, and for the vast untapped market, that will be knocking on the door soon.
The skip outside the terminal has been emptied.
The new tiles, perhaps fire damaged stock, are almost fully laid in the concourse, shame the doors are in the way, never mind.
The tiles outside the terminal, have no grip in the wet, and the little slope away from the doors is lethal. Seen two elderly gentlemen slip, slide and then fall over already. Airport liability or the will of Allah, I am not certain.
The visa run passengers spend hours waiting for inbound clearances, and have spent many hours sleeping on the baggage belt. I suppose the European charter fligths that are scheduled to start soon, will be able to collect a domestic servent as well as thier bags. Might be a problem with the X ray machine.
The good news: Local Radar head will be installed soon.
