has anyone heard of avtech, company offering training in aviation?just got a load of info off them in the post re-dispatch training.
apparently they offer city+guilds qualifications.does anyone know how employers view these qualifications?i don't want to shell out £750 if the course is no good or the qualification is useless!

Yeah I heard of them about 5 years ago. I was looking at studying Air Transport Economics by correspondence. I wanted something to add to my CV to impress the airlines. I registered an interest but as far as I know they never offered the completed course. It was a long time ago so maybe they have it all up and runninng now? Do you have a website or contact details?

hope this helps you!course info seems to be good but like i said,i don't know if employers will view it favourably as it it's only city+guilds(no disrespect intended).i'm thinking of doing it until i can get the cash together to do the FAA.

Thanks Lozza
good luck with the course

I know what you mean about the City and guilds, not sure how much status it carries but it is all relevant training that counts.

cheers
