Hi Guys (n girls)
I am a PPRuNe newbie so please bear with me.

Our company has been instructed to procure a number of serviceable JT9D-7J engines. Our customer acquired some a while ago from a company called AFX Engineering in the UK.
Are they still around as I dont seem to find any info on them on the net and if not can someone suggest me who might be able to supply this type of engines?

You could try Evergreen in Arizona, they dispose of a lot of aircraft, I was there a few years ago and they had a number of JT9's lying around.

Good luck !!! Very limited number of those built ! Did a differences course once but think i've long since disposed of notes !!!
