Hi !. .I Freelance in the UK but I would like to find out about the rates I should apply.. .I am not desperate for work so I do charge but what do you think about it ?. .- £100 a day when working a second crew on a single crew light twin. (that's for the peace of mind of owners or customer requirements in case someone needs to ask).. .- £150 when working single crew on a light twin. .- £130 when working as "F/O" on a single turbo prop. .- £180 when operating as captain on a single Turbo-prop.. .On top I add the various daily expenses.. .. .How much should I reasonably ask for a turbo prop or jet job when working as an F/O (on a single crew A/C) on a freelance basis. That is until I can get a full time position.... .. .Thanks for sharing your infos. . . . [ 29 March 2002, 19:45: Message edited by: AMEX ]

4HolerPoler, just to let you know that although this question would probably appear to fit better in the "Terms and Endearment" Forum, my question is specific to the GA industry (The one I swim in ).. .Thanks for not moving the thread...

I´d think, it very much depends on your experience and what ratings you hold...
As a hint:
in our outfit, a SIC will earn about 80GBP on the B200 and 110GBP on the CJ2. PIC would earn 160GBP/220GBP...plus roughly 10GBP allowances...
Those are rates very common in germany...

Here at Oxaero we pay £250 for Captains and £150 for FOs and Flight Attendants. We operate Citation Excel, Ultra, and CitationJets. Sorry but no vacancies at the moment....!!
The whole company will move from Oxford to Coventry in mid April "Praise the Lord and an ILS on both ends 24 Hrs!!!"
We look forward to welcoming all our friends (old and new!) at our brand-new HQ then...

Dallas, Texas.....
B200 Capt. $350.00 to $500.00 per day + expenses. Usually out and back pays less. An all day trip or an overnight pays more.
