The fractional business is heating up in the States. United Airlines started its own fractional business a few months ago to capture a larger share of the premium travel demographic... There currently is a question about Avolar's ability to financing itself given United's financial problems - although I believe an investment partner is being vigorously sought.
Avolar has ordered a wide range of aircraft including Beechjet 400As, Lear 45 & 60, Falcon 50EX/2000EX/900EX, Gulfstream 200 (Galaxy) IVSP and V and will manage Airbus A319CJs using United mainline pilots.
I know that Avolar started hiring and interviewing quite a bit recently. Do you know anyone who has interviewed or is in the process of being interviewed? What is their opinion of the operation, pay, conditions, etc.?
Flying a GV for Avolar (if it survives its funding round) worldwide wouldn't be too bad...
Do you know anything about Avolar?
. .Cheers
