Hello everybody,
Seems like there is a demand for pilots in Asia and I'm wondering which Asian companies in particular DO hire low time expats FO's to fill in the gap?
Thanx

Don't even think about it, . . .because there are plenty in-country [citizen] low timers [500hrs] who are sitting in the right seat of big jets; for many, the big jet, in fact, has become their primary trainer.

You got 2 problem there buddy...low time & being an expat...:hmm:
No major airliner will have a look at that at all..pity..
Maybe should look at AirAsia...they're desparate enough to find people to get their birds up in the air....:E

The Middle East is probably your best go. Massive expansion.
Scare Airsia, don't waste your time...!!!!!!:ugh:
Malaysian DCA they will do what ever the government tells them to do !!! and that would be vis a vis what MAS and the others Transmile etc require. If they need expats then that's what they will get.
This DCA won't allow this and that is bumi propaganda. If others don't apply then the mat perangs :yuk: will have a chance of a job. :(
You write in to the companies listed in any asian country and get the news directly from the source................:) If they say no you have your answer.

1. transmile airlines, all frieght carrier, has hired low time expat pilots , however, an expat still needs 3x as much time as their low time local pilots accepted, most expats have atp
2. expect to live in Malaysia
3. expect to be treated like indentured servant
4. expect to have a high $$$ training bond
5. expect the pay is low and time off is limited
6. expect to fly right seat in old worn out 727
But if all you want to do is live to fly this could be an option, plus its really really cheap to live in Malaysia
