PVR'ing

Hi all,

My questions is, if signed up for a PC (16/38), what are the rules on PVR'ing at a point after returning 3 years service as a pilot after training. Are circumstances considered before allowing it, just like to get some information incase the sh!t ever hit the fan with personal life or i got offered to play the next james bond...

It's simple, by completing an OCU or the CFS cse you have a 6 year return of service. Getting out before that 6 years is likely to be a painful process...

DlD, he has to be a troll. If you look at his earlier posts the man wants out before he has even got in. With commitment like this OASC should be a breeze.:}

Can you imagine the difficulty doing attitude adjustment of someone who is a 'civvie' from start to finish. I, for one, would neither wish to train or work with someone as committed as this. They are PITA from start to finish.

I'm not so sure the agression is required, if someone is asking a question and the only answers that can be given are "why are you asking this" and "if you ask this get out" etc, then dont answer!! I'm after information because things come left right and centre from different people saying different things... Same here really though.

Haha yeah i'm a seasoned banter monkey, but i've seen people destroyed on here for saying "OASC are idiots, the RAF needs me" quite rightly they are drilled to the ground, didnt want my questions interpreted the wrong way, i'm after information not just for myself!!!

Anyway, I heard that civvies will be after seasoned 10,000hr UAV pilots when they fire all their aircrew for UAV passenger jets, planning to take my UAV quals away.....

Probably true but you would leave with a conviction of drug abuse.... why not simply put your notice in? A friend of mine who still had 3 years RoS to complete knocked on the CO's door with his resignation letter in one hand accompanied from a letter from his solicitor in the other hand. The solicitors letter was well constructed and essentially stated that the RoS was illegal and against his clients human rights and that he was prepared to take the MOD to court to prove that it was illegal.

Within 15 minutes (following swift phone call from CO to somone much higher) the young man was infomed that he would be released within the normal time scales (12 months notice) and that the MOD would waive their claim on any RoS.

Seems like a bit of contradiction there fella.
Notice you still haven't answered the question as to what stage you were at............well?
Maybe then you'll get some more informed advice.
