Low level whirly-birds in DXB at 2am!!

I'm sure you guys and gals living in Garhoud are used to it, but can some of you locally based helicopter pilots explain what the new "buzz" is? In the Al Sufouh/ Media City area there's been a lot of VERY low level helicopter activity at around 2am - bl00dy noisy in such a quiet area:mad:

Used to get that quite a bit around Al Safa. Apparantly an army general or some such used to catch a heli home from work when he didn't want to drive.:ugh:
