Buster, I'd be interested in any other info you could pass on, or direct me to.

I fall short of the hours perhaps, but hope that experience and age might counter this....?

Sorry Flyboy, I don't have any more to pass on to you other than what's on the website (http://www.expressfreightersaustralia.com/). Good luck anyway:ok:

A good friend of mine was offered an interview, he meets all the requirements and wants to move home to Aus. Testing was the typical “QF Space Shuttle Testing” followed by Sim. Salary would not be discussed, he was told it was “negotiable” with the MD.

All was looking good and he was set to come back to oz then recruitment went cold.

No response to email, no follow up at all.

A few days later I was speaking to a mainline FO mate, he said that some of the mainline SO’s had been offered places with EFA in order to fill seats and stop ongoing empty bid lines in mainline.

This would go most of the way to explaining the lack of response from EFA

This (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=235472&highlight=conversion) one mentions it. See post 148 here (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=232904&page=5&highlight=conversion) as well.

I can't recall the exact thread where someone mentioned the airframe loss, I apologise...BTW, Danny took a big broom through Dunnunda recently & perhaps it went at that time.

Sorry.
