Would any UK engineers be able to give me some advice on how I go about getting a engineering job here in the UK.
Please any advice would be appreciated.

Hi there Nutloose
I have experience on the following aircraft Reims 406,Citation 560,Embrair 120,Cessna 208,404,402,210,206,310,Gulfstream1 and the following engines PT6A-112,114,118,JT15,Continental,Lycoming,Rolls Royce dart.
I do hold a South African license which I no means nothing here and im on my 6th year in this feild.

Sorry for the delay in answering I plainly forgot, u should be ok for the likes of companies such as CSE Aviation at Oxford, indeed one of the managers there is from your part of the world.... The light Aviation world in the UK is in a bit of a turmoil with the EASA junk and stuff, but you should be ok for work even contracting, I could sort out some phone numbers or email addresses if needed, depends on immigration too unless you are here already I suppose.
