View Full Version : Too Old For The Indian Skies?

Hello Everyone!!

I'm 30 years old with 7 years of experience in the IT and ITES sector. Even though I have done very well for myself in my current industry, I just can't shake off the flying Bug and spend hours enjoying FS2004. When I was younger I could not afford a flying school. Recently me and my wife got a wondeful oppurtunity to live in Slough, U.K for a year from November 2006. I'm planning to get into a flying school in UK and use my contacts to land up a couple of interviews, when I attain my CPL, with the Domestic Airlines.

Now I've gone through http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=51690&highlight=30+years and there seem to be enough people who have made a career change to flying after the age of 30.

I was wondering if there is anyone who has done the same in India i.e. get into pilot training after 30 and currently have a job with the main players in the Indian skies.

Also any recommendation of flying schools in UK would be nice!!

Thanks!!
