Gentlemen...Jai Hind and
Namaste to all!
Can anyone provide me any information or rumour on a newairline about to begin operations out of Mumbai. Airline name is "Visaa Airways". Cannot confirm that for sure!
Any news would be most appreciative.
Understand this airline is a Dash 8 operator and will be conducting domestic ops only.
I have been contacted by them in a round about way and just need to find out about the legitimacy of this organization.
Do they have a organization set up, offices i.e. base of operation etc. and who is behind this project.
If I knew the answers..I wouldn't be asking.
Thank you in advance for any and all assistance you can possibly provide. I am sure those who are based in Mumbai can answer this question most effectively.
Thank you, one and all.
Southall!

STAY AWAY FROM "VISA AIRWAYS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have taken money from a lot of people with promises to start airline couple of years back but they don't have fund to run an airline. I've two friends working for Jet Airways who have paid visa airways money for Dash 8 training but nothing happened. Probably you've Dash 8 rating but my suggestion to you will be to stay away from these fraud people.

Indian Pilot.
I thank you for your input. So tell me, when did all this take place. Do you know of any of the principals involved? Any information to this airline would bve greatly appreciated.
Also, are you in the US or in India?
I have been told they are about to receive their operating certificate?
Please PM me if you can't write the information on this site.
Thanks A Bunch!

GOOGLE does not have anything on VISAA Airways!

I don't have the exact informaton on the principals involved with them but i've written the info i had on hand. if you've Dash 8 rating and if you really need this job then i'd advice u wait untill they get the operational certificate. As far as news in indian aviaton i've not heard them getting the clearences anytime soon. i'm in india now thats how i know bout them.

I appreciate all the available information you have provided. Very valuable information.
I am also looking for any other pilot in India who knows of VISAA Airways and who the principals may be.
Anyone having any contact with the DGCA in India?
I have only heard negative things about this operation.
Anyone else care to add their 2 cents worth?
Thank you very much, in advance

Owned by a guy called Vivek Sahane. Therefore the name VI-SA.A complete fraud is all i have to say.If u have money in excess then pls give it to him!And make sure u dont ever wanna see it again. If you never want to see the inside of an airplane(besides a paid ticket),then opt to join this outfit.Guys a professional fraud and a conman who should be behind the wrong side of bars. The less said the better. And i know a lotta fellas who know him personally.Cheers, hope this helps.
