Hey everyone!

Im a turbo prop rated guy from South Africa and is trying to get into China - can anyone help me with the name of one or two turbo prop operators there?

" I have looked everywhere and gone through previous threads, but without luck"

Any respone would be very much apreciated!

ChangAn Airlines (now under HaiNan Airlines) use to operates DHC-8, but think no more in operation now and the aircraft is sold to Horizon Air:hmm:

other than that the rest should be all russian/chinese turbo prop or maybe CAAC flying college still have some.

Turbo prop is not popular in china simply because the prejudice, everyone believe the bigger jets are safer. Even the chinese own Y-7 / MA-60 can not escape, not a single chinese operator buy them but luckily they sold some to Zimbabwe and Indonisia.

Not quite. China Xinjiang (now part of China Southern) operate 5 X 72-500s

Ya,you are right, 5 and the only 5 ATR in china
