I saw a Sea King heading towards London this morning around the Clacket Lane area at 0500 local.I thought the militairy didn't fly on weekends especially that early!

Was it a RAF or RN SAR Sea King? They sometimes do flights for organ transplants or casevac to a specialist hospital.

It was a SAR Sea King, it popped into Gatwick for some fuel at about 02:30, then departed a couple of hours later.
