Hi,
I would like to know whether there is any cadet ship prog. available for indians...
Also I like to know from pilots in India about the actual job opportunity in India..with just the minimum..
Also i heard that there are 2 ways of doing training abroad and coming back..
1... Do the Indian CPL theory first and then do the flying abroad...
2... Get an overseas license and then convert..
Is this correct(Not sure)...
Also I would like to Know whether i should do the flight training now or do it after taking a graduation..
I would like to have a clear reply from the senior guys here..
Regards and Prayers to All...

Hi Kanak,
You sound very young and full of energy. Keep it up!!!
To be honest, I am unable to comment on your first few questions however, I would like to ask you a simple question!
What if you get a CPL (without a degree) and even a job as you wish. But after some time you realise that you don't really want to/ can't fly ?
There can be many reasons for this i.e. no time for family, personal growth etc. with time prefrence changes or what if you are medically unfit to fly. (I know someone who is refused Class 1 medical for rest of his life after flying 1000 hrs)
I wish, nothing like this would happen to you but just in case if a surprising situation comes up would you be able to handle it with a CPL in hand? Do you have a backup?
Lets put it this way... would you prefer single engine or multiengine aircraft for a long flight?
Qualifications may(not) help us get a good job but surely build our meturity level (which only come with time, qualifications and experience) and this, later in life helps us to handle complex situation/s.
Once someone told me (you may not agree) ... "its always better to be overqualified then underqualified".
There is a shloka in sanskrit (I hated when in school)
"vidhya dadati vinayam, vinyadwati patratam,
patrtwaad dhana aapnoti, dhanat dharamam tateh sukham"
would read...
Qualification brings us brain which in return makes us eligible, eligibility helps in geting job/money, with money we can fulfill our duties and when we fulfill our duties; we feel happy.
I wish you all the best.
Thanks you.

pls pls no "Ji" "sir" ....{sir darad karta hai ji}
Safer as you will have a better idea about flt training as you join a intl flt school you will arrive better prepared for the CASA exams.
Also if you do not manage to pass your DGCA conversion papers within 6 mths your IR will lapse and will have to fly back to Aus for the renewal to convert your CASA CPL to DGCA CPL
