Whilst picking up my parents from Luton Airport last week, a White 767 freighter rolled down the taxiway with what I believe to be

ASBA Cargo

titles on the side. I'm sure that there was a South African flag on the fuselage.

Anyone have any idea's who they are and whether they are now a Luton regular?

ABSA are from Brazil. Couldn't tell you if they're regulars at LTN.

ABSA Cargo are occasional visits to Luton (using B767-300's), there being roughly one a Fortnight & they tend to route Recife - Luton - Frankfurt as TUS8480. VarigLOG previously operated a short series of flights through Luton before ABSA Cargo took over.

ABSA are owned by the LAN Chile group. They operate primarily between South America, ie BRAZIL etc to MIA and few other points and once in awhile they operate to Europe.

The ABSA flights to Luton have been bringing (lots of) polo ponies.
