Vr - V2 split

One of the Tech Log readers has raised a question (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2596877&posted=1#post2596877) about the split being increased for a tailwind takeoff. I can't see any sensible reason for this ... any takers ?

Would appreciate any erudite wisdom being expounded in the original thread if that's not too much trouble for folk, please.
