I am interested in finding some information for expat Captains in India.

Specfically, I want to know details about taxes in India for expats.

Also, if someone has an opinion and information on the various cities that are generally used as bases. Is one preferable to another and why?

I need information on expat family relocation/conditions, etc.?

My understanding of the tax situation is that if you get a job through an agency, most will have negotiated the tax sitaution already. You will be paid what the agency quotes you. If you don't go through an agency, then I'm not sure and would also be interested to hear.
