The Star newspaper has again excelled in reporting aviation rubbish, a photograph of an upturned aircraft at Jenderata this weekend was referred to several times as a Cessna.
On the basis that Cessnas have wings on the top and Pipers have wings at the bottom, then the reporter may not have noticed the aircraft was in fact lying on its back.
There were at least two confirmed aviation buffs in the pic, said reporter should have asked for their comment.
b.t.w. it wasn't even a Piper
