A TRI after having complained about being spoken to rudely by a rostering clerk was told by the Chief TC Airbus that he is expendable and Mr.P (the rostering clerk) is not! Heard from the horses mouth.

And they wonder why people are leaving.

Little wonder!

How do you tell the difference between "rude" and wonderful cultural quirks of most of the crewing clerks....??

I know the TRI involved. Would not say he is the rude type either? Well, at least the boys know where they stand now!

says more about the Tw@t who is running the Airbus training department, than anyone else, i think.

Why doesn't he just resign and maybe CC can review his thoughts on who is more expendable.Who was the TRI?

Come on chaps. Maybe CC has had a lapse in sanity, but calling him a Tw@t is well out of order. He, although insanely ambitious, has to one of the most genuine guys around, with a heart as big as a lions. Care to share a beer with Vorsicht or CC? Somehow I think Vorsicht may be drinking alone. The fact is that EK has many many Tw@ts, but CC is definitely not one of them.

Agree with Fugazi, CC is one of the few genuine good guys up there. Perhaps he had a bad day, it happens! An axe to grind there Vorsicht?? :hmm:

If the said rostering chap was PW, I have to say, I have never met a fairer more honest bloke, who does his best to juggle all the hand-grenades management and trainers throw at him. They are under resourced and under paid and have a cr*p job to do. At the risk of not supporting one of our own (and I definitely do not know the details of what happened) PW is almost certainly more valuable than any TC, as the training department would probably implode without his continuous massaging of schedule, due to the reactionary way we do business. And after all the company has shown just how disposable and replaceable TC's are :uhoh:

I think there's more than meets the eye here...

This thread was closed by the originator but I've opened it again. A mix of current event, unfinished business and mod's discretion.

I don't think i have an axe to grind. I dont know the guy on a personal level, I only know him as a manager, and from my personal expeience with him as a manager, I think he is a tw@t.

To me, my perception is totally consistent with what you guys have said. How many times have you heard at EK when someone is about to tell you a story about someone in management or a senior trainer and they start the story with "He's a really nice guy, but.......". I reckon that probably applies to said Chief TC.
