Excuse my ignorance, but can anyone explain the association between Netjets Middle East and NAS? I have expressed an interest in employment with NETJETS, but colleages who work for NETJETS europe dont even know a great deal about the middle eastern outfit. Thanks

National Air Services are the parent company, they operate the following umbrella companies....

1: NAS - Aircraft Management.
2: Netjets Middle East - Fractional Jet Operation
3: Al-Khayala - Saudi Arabias first private airline.
4: Soon to be low cost carrier.

Terms and conditions vary depending on which company one is employed by.

thanks Mutt... do you per chance know whether Netjets ME are still recruiting; the considerable number of advertisements which appeared around November seem to have disappeared.

Cashaca,

I believe NAS is interviewing in Dallas for NJME at the end of this month. They could be underway or already over. I don't know their future plans for hiring. Interviews are typically held in Dallas or Paris. Good luck.

Cheers,

Interesting to see an Irish recruitment agency advertising today for Jeddah based fleet managers for Hawker 800XP, Falcon 2000 & GIV fleets. All change or are these positions all suddenly vacant?

Watch this space.

Yes, interesting too the T&C offered for these positions: Base salary of 6'500USD and 1 (one!!) economy ticket home per YEAR!!

Don't know what they are trying to do, but these conditions being around 50% below usual contracts for Saudi (all other things like allowances and insurance being equal), methinks they're trying to attract 1) monkeys for a new zoo 2) convicts fleeing from the law enforcement of a civilized country 3) former east-bloc or Southeast-Asia pilots from lo-cos...

Strange.

just finished the interviews yesterday in Dallas. There were 5 of us but there was no word on any more upcomming interviews.

All 5 were captains on various ac types. Interview was by V Pres of Mid east ops NJ, and sim ride was from Acting CP/operations manager. Interesting the big guns were there. No one recieved any feedback on performance, told to expect notice in 2 weeks. No salary mentioned and all other info seemed a little vague.

enjoy
