Re-sizing Drop-Down Menus

My favourites drop down menu window is very wide - is there any way of re-sizing such menus?

The favourites menu will normally take on the width of the longest shortcut listed on there. Find the longest and rename it to a shorter length and the menu width should alter accordingly.
