The BAHF from Toms River NJ,USA,is pressing forward with their huge project to bring a Boeing C-97G STRAT classic proptransport back to the skies once again. In HER new life the mighty STRAT will be on a mission of History & Education as a "Flying Museum" of COLD WAR Exibits, memorabilia & history. The BAHF is a private,tax-exempt,non-profit all volunteer membership organization dedicated in preserving proptransport history also. This aircraft does not function & leave the ground without that key person at the seat & PANEL position the Flight Engineer. At this time we are looking for some talented folks who had some time logged at that position who might have an interest in our old bird to help support us in our effort & dream to get this fine 4engine(P&W4360's)proptransport back in the wild blue! We are making a list at this time to get a heads up start of those who would want to be apart of this great aviation event about to happen! See us at www.spiritoffreedom.org for some great pics & more info what this organization is all about. Thanks kindly, JR

My old boss, Ron Carter, was a ex-BOAC F/E on their Stratocruisers. Don't think he's around any more.

The only ones I know that operated a c-97 in the last 10 years are hawkins and powers. Think they´re based in greybull wyoming...
Would be a very cool job though :D
