Calling all intergrated

Hi there

I want to find out if there are currently any recntly graduated intergrated boys who are unemployed. Prefrebbly from OAT and FTE.
Do intergrated get all the jobs?

I would also like to hear of intergrated guys who are employed to, (post 2003)?

Well im about to start an intergrated course. Jus thought i find out what am i letting myself into.

I really am sorry to do this, but if you go filling in applications, you better get someone to do a spell check for you. My eight year old nephew even pointed out the mistakes (not kidding).

I didn't realise this was an application form?!! This is one thing that really annoys me....is it really the be all and end all if you spell something wrong in the haste of trying to type an informal message on a public forum!??i think not. I think messages like the above put off people into writing what could be a very useful thread for fear of reprisals due to spelling!!

The BA application form currently asks if you did and integrated course. It doesn't give you the option of explaining how yoou got your licence, just asks a yes or no question. That to me suggests that integrated, rightly or wrongly is a consideration when looking through applications.

IMHO If you can afford it, do it. It will hold you in good stead in the future.

BA are so short of crew it makes no difference how you did your training!

I can confirm Mister Geezer's analysis. I went modular route and it didn't seem to count against me with BA.

You'll probably find that BA have a box they need to tick for diversity..i.e. 50% modular..50%intergrated....and black white yellow green etc...:rolleyes:

I personally believed that this to be true and would give me an added edge which is why I chose this route.

With that in mind, however, does this not suggest that the integrated courses are grooming you for airlines that possibly do not have the capacity to take all of the graduates produced by these courses, leaving them in the same boat as everyone else?
