Emirates medical

Does anyone have info about this part of the 3 day assessment?
How are they? Do you do it at emirates? or some where else appointed by EK?
do they pose any restrictions to the use of spectacles/contacts?

Seriously, contacts and/or specs are no problem. Might help to put the blinkers on though.

They have an aviation medicine section of the EK clinic that carry out the medicals. Most of the docs are either CAA, JAA, Aus or FAA accredited. My experience with them has been generally positive but some of the old timers feel they can be a bit over zealous!
