Does anyone know of an adaptor, preferrably able to be carried on an aircraft, that will permit the addition of Prist or similar anti icing additive to Jet A1 during pressure refuelling?
Would greatly appreciate any information, either via the forum, or email direct.
Many thanks.

FL510, to the best of my knowledge Jet A1 is delivered with anti icing additive already in. I will ask when back in at work next week but I'm pretty sure. Maybe best talking direct to fuel suppliers you use.

Spannersatcx,
This is certainly the case in the US, Canada, and some other parts of the world, however unfortunately not so in the area we are operating in.
Further enquiries have revealed that the additives are not approved for mixing during pressure refuelling, only during gravity refuelling. The location of the gravity fuelling port on this aircraft makes that a very inconvenient operation.
Fortunately the requirement is only a short term one pending completion of tests to demonstrate that the fuel supply system upstream of the fuel heater is not subject to icing under prolonged cold soak conditions. We may just have to find a way to live with it in the interim.
Thanks for your input.
