I tried, following your advice, to find that Transmile AD in the local paper; No joy.
Will you please post it here, or at least give us some highlights.

Transmile will screw you over when and however they can. Make you pay for training, then pay you a training salary until you are "brought" on to line that is if you have not HAD to buy a type rating before...

If you are so upset by Transmile, then simply do not go flying there. Interested people will surely do their homework and then make up their mind...

Just saw today on climbto350.com that Transmile is looking for 2 full sets of crew for the 727...

That's in addition to the MD11 crews they have been hunting so desperately for the past months...

I don't know what they are offering for the 727 (they offered 6000USD for a MD11 first officer), but it has to be more than what anybody is paying locals, including MAS...

Since when is the shortage of locals so bad?

The MH Guys who are there were sacked from MH,you twit. The AA guys,one of the jumped ship after just starting line training and having problem.

Applied for MD11 Captain's position.3 days after I submitted my resume,they offered me an interview an wanted a date confirmation.When I wanted to reconfirm the appointment,they change the interview offer to a Cruise Captain's slot and asked whether I'm still interested.
When I asked them what is actually a cruise captain's job,rank in the company,salary package breakdowns and perks etc,they are unable to explain satisfactorily.

Still thinking whether it is worth my time to attend the interview or forget about it.

Was an Thread here by Eddie DeMarko regarding Transmile.

This was a very accurate picture of what this company is all about.

I suggest that those contemplating joining read the posts and then make up their own mind.

Seems to me that with this mob the goal posts seem to keep moving. First they sucker you in and promise you the world and once your caught and spent a heap of your own cash they change tems and condidtions.

Yep hearing lots of rumours about upset or deflated people. All I know is plenty of other things coming up, specially once you get hours. Up to them see, sort the problem or sink to Davy jones locker lah.

MD 11 pay scale is like thisb for Captains
Basic 6000 RM
Type 9000 RM
Bonus 3000RM payable at the end of the year
Per diem US60
Per Hour 80RM
No yearly increament
No meal allowences
No Laundry for a 20 plus night away from home

Long time away from home perhaps 20 days or more
MD 11 operates out if KLIA not Subang so shuttle to KLIA...transport is provided.

What kind of salary package is that?That's way too low for a full pledged MD11 Captain's standard.No wonder they are short of crew.If this is so,then how does it make up to more than RM30,000 gross as they advertised?:confused:

Perhaps they should change the advertisement to MD 11 Captain with $18,000 basic salary
