to all ex-mas pilots out there:i need your advice.

mas have declared profits for financial year 2004 ending 31/03/2005 and the company have decided to give one month ex-gratia for all staff, however the circular from GMHR states that the employee must still be in service till 1st june 2005.

i have worked for the full financial year (from 1/04/05 till 31/03/05) and served the company for 14 years.i have resigned from mas on 31/05/2005.technically i am only one minute short from the criteria of the circular.due to this i was denied of this payment.

i would like to know:
1) what is the significant of 1/06/2005,when actually the financial year ended on 31/03/05.
2)is the circular from GMHR norm and legal
3)whats ex-gratia (compared to bonus)
4)what does malaysian labour law says regarding this
5)can i engage a lawyer
6)can this matter be brought up to industrial court

any advice is much appreciated,i am just claiming whats i think rightfully mine.am i in the wrong.?????
thank you.
