When would AA have their next intake for copilots? Understand that they are currently taking rated expats for the 737 fleet. Does it mean that AA doesn’t intend to train any more locals for their 737 fleet? With so many of their cadets in MFA does a private candidate with a Frozen ATPL stand a chance with AA. The fact that AA is expanding quite rapidly & flying to so many new destinations & rumors that there are quite a high rate of crew turnover can an aspiring applicant have a good shot to landing a job with AA. Unfortunately there are quite a number of locals who have applied & no news from AA. Sincerely appreciate it if someone would kindly shed some light. Cheers……

Thank you so much for the generous offer MKTong.Yes I am a Malaysian national.I had first applied to AA as of Oct 2004 & since sent 3 more CV's but yet to receive any reply. It is very unprofessional as their Website states that they are positions open for Co-pilots.It is very misleading. Have been advised by friends that AA would only hire 3rd quarter of 2005 since that's when the A320 starts arriving.
Also heard rumors that they are taking delivery of 2 A320's June/July 2005.Appreciate it very much if you could shed some light.Once again that a million for the thought.Cheers.....
