Last I saw on this subject India don't take F/Os, only DE captains with relevant experience and then only for a twelve month contract.

If you have an Indian passport & a valid Indian CPL/ATPL run back to India tonite and the next day you will be hired, no jokes about this, the airlines are DYING FOR PILOTS

If you have 500plus TT go an convert to Indian CPL, instant job on 737NG or 320 incase you are getting a big jet to fly in SA then stay.

Hey Left wing, I think u r stating things a little over the top mate. The airlines in India are dying for……..EXPERIENCED…..pilots only. There are hundreds of pilots in India…..many of whom have more than 500 hours. No one will give you a job on a B737 or A320 with those sort of hours.
The reality is that firstly you have to know ppl in high places, and if u r lucky enough to get a job with out any experience on type be prepared to pay for the training costs associated with your the type rating.
So please don’t give ppl false hopes mate.

If you have 500+ TT Indian CPL there is nothing in this world that can stop you from getting a flying job, yes some s*&t airlines will ask for money.
Those days are numbered for them, there close to 6 new airlines you really think they find 320 type rated pilots to relocate to India. Jet air just took 25 CPLs on the ATR fleet. Say positive and keep pushing. No false hope here, airlines in any part fo the world will ONLY hire positive people no matter how many thousnads of jet time you may have.
All the best.
