Have u heard about "ANIMAL RESOURCE FLYING ACADEMY"?Here is the interesting story.Normally an organisation is practising Human Resouce Management but I know one Flying academy is practising ANIMAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT. This academy did not have sense of human management as I can see, cos they treat the employees and Instructors like animal.
The administrations do not know how to organise the proper management to provide good welfare to the employees for example just a small matter is the car parking area.They are very selfish and provide the parking area only for the top administration personel and the others of the employees and the instructor have to find and struggle to find a parking space to park their car which will take more than 15 minutes and to walk another 10 minutes to the buildings.Can u imagine if that day is a very heavy rain!!!This matter had been notified to the management but they do not know exactly what to do for years and years!!
The instructors expecially epatriates are given only 10 days annual leave which the local instructors has been given 14 days annual leave.The 10 days of the annual leave the instructor have to deduct 2 days just to do their medical check up.if the age is more than 40 years .If the instructor going for the medical check up they have to take their annual leave.I dont understand that the company required you to undergo the medical check up and you have to take your leave to do it.The expatriates only have the balance of 8 days to use.Do you think that for one expatriates which their family is about 14000 km is enough for them to spend time with their family??The flight departure and arrival already takes 2 days and they only can spend 6 days!!
One more matter that i think all the instructors specially flying instructors to AWARE is the INSURANCE COVERAGE. I was aware recently about this matter and to warn the other instructors to take consideration to read back your employment contract carefully and ask about the insurance coverage.From the information which I've got and truly shock me that the fact is far frightening....The company is buying a Group Personal Accident of a very cheap coverage with premium of RM 75 per year.....so damn cheap for Professional Instructors and even cheaper premium for Engineer and Technician.

In the contract the company mention to cover you up to RM 150,000 in case of injuries,hospitalization as per policy in force..but this is a very major lie cos this amount of money will be deliver to your family when you are dead.....and now.....******If you survive and loose your 2 legs they give u only a percentage of that full amount.....and now the CHERRY ON THE TOP OF THE CAKE....is if you stay 6 months in the hospital the company pay your medical expenses only maximum up to RM 1000. The rest you have to pay from your pocket...If you dont have money that time ....pray to GOD...
If you are Engineer - your life is RM 100,000
If you are Technician - your life cost only RM 50,000 and for this company they only willing to put RM 75 for your head.....
