Heard a rumor that Midwest Executive Aviation in the uk are being pursued by large US FBO chain for aquisition??

Dont think its Signature as from what I have heard (and this is a source in the US I heard from back home) that they are not yet in Europe but want to be, which excludes Signature...

Straight take over of 6 UK FBOs to start you off make sense.

Anyone heard anything or rumours?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the company in quesion was Signature. They seem to have an enormous amount of capital for investment and further expanding their network; their presence in the UK has increased dramatically over the last year. Also, at airports with two or more FBOs, they seem to be keen to buy them all to eliminate the competition (see LHR, for example).

Isnt Signature owned by the BBA group which is a British company?

Yeah, that's right, Signature is part of BBA Aviation. Signature's head office, however, is in Orlando.
