Who flies these birds? Is this a popular bid for those crews? What type of rosters do they fly? Thanks so much. Cheers!

Malaysia Airlines Cargo has the aircraft leased from Air Atlanta. Crew are also from Air Atlanta. Don't know about roster or patterns. Perhaps more answers if posted in Far East Forum.

From what I am made to believe, MAS has two 742s, ie 9M-MHI, 9M-MHK, but as of last month, these 2 a/c has been sold off to a operator in europe. They are to take delivery of these two faithful B742 soon, sad! Anyways, as for the MAS crew, apparently, Air Atlanta, will re register 2 742 to the malaysian register, and the original MAS crew will fly them. I could be wrong though, any one out there can confirm the above?
There is also the rumour going around that MAS will convert their older 744s, to freighter config..and the original 742 crew will be converted. Will have to wait and see if this is true.
Currently, MAS wet leases 742s from air atlanta, but I do not know how many a/c are involved.
