Anyone have any info on the current state of play at Dragonair - or are they in just as bad a state as the rest of the industry?

I think you guys may be beginning to realise that Dragonair is purely a commercial company. If they need you they will contact you. They will drop you as soon as they do not need you any more. If you go to Hong Kong with them keep your bags packed and ready to leave again.

Heard that Dragonair has been flooded with ex Ansett A320 pilots hoping for jobs. How many finally got in?

Is anyone prepared to divulge some info on the Dragonair package / interview / etc as I believe things are beginning to move again in the Dragon camp.

If anyone wants details on the package then it is probably best to get that from the company. If you dont have any luck there try the dragonair pilots association at
web page (http://members.fortunecity.com/dpilots/dpa/)

Dragonair crews are being trained at this moment on 743. Training is slow as it only operates a few sectors weekly, and such is doing more regional flying to get as much training in as possible.

Business at KA has decreased but not as significantly as long haul business.
