Metrojet have advertised for crew in the Australian media and I was wondering if anybody has any information on the operation? I.e. the good, the bad and the ugly side of life working for them. Does the salary cover the costs of life in Honk Kong and is accommodation included?
Many thanks for any info.; I've already checked their website and there's not alot of info.

I worked for them as an engineer when they only had the 125. There are lot of good people there, and they also operate helecopters through a seperate company heliservices who have lots of oz guys.
They paid me quite well good salary and accomodation so cant see why it should be any different now.
have fun

My company used them twice during the recent SE Asian crises to move high profile ploiticians between Manila and Jakarta and we found them to be an excellent service provider. I found their flight crew particularly pleasant to dela with.
This is not meant to be a plug for MetroJet and I am in now way connected to the organization but it is always nice to endorse the good guys in the industry when the opportunity arises.
Sorry can't offer you an insight to the terms and conditions.

Second time in 12 months they have advertised for G200 crews. Has anyone actually been called for an interview????

They are advertising due to expansion, not because of crew losses. Metrojet added a second G200 last year and have 2 more on order, one due this month and one later in the year, as well as a new G450 which will be on line towards the end of the year.
I don't work for them, but have a close association with the company. I highly recommend them. I don't have details of pay and conditions, but have no problem if anyone wants to pm me for further info.
