Discussing private Indian airlines, a friend of mine pointed out that both Jet Airways and Sahara seemed to have financiers in the background with dubious sources of cash. In the case of Jet Airways, it appears to be Dawood Ibrahim, whereas in the case of Sahara the personal wealth of the founder seems to have been generated by "money lending".
Any ppruners with more info?

You heard of BLACK MONEY ? India is full of it so the pvt airlines tap any source :ok:
And every one goes home happy, since the govt will not allow FDI in the airline industry.

are yaar i thought it was the movie only that was subject to this kind of money laundering...anyway im too far to comment,but still an indian at heart
