Cookies

Anyone got any ideas why all of a sudden I keep having to manually log in to pprune. I haven't changed any settings on my browser (at least, not that I'm aware of) and the cookies for other sites are working OK. What's even more confusing is that it doesn't happen every time but it is happening more often than not.

Any ideas?

Same with me. Have you just updated to XP SP2? This only started happening after installing the upgrade patch.

In your pprune user cp, do you also have 'Yes' selected for "Browse board with cookies?" and "Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)"?

YES to both

If you are using Internet Explorer look at the "privacy" setting. Click on 'tools' then 'internet options' then the 'privacy' tab. Try lowering the setting if it is above 'medium high.'

Has always been set to MEDIUM

Are you logging into pprune.com or .org? Try .org if you are using .com.

Already using .org

Are you running a firewall or an anti virus with built in firewall?

I am running ZoneAlarm Pro but have not changed the settings!
