From what I heard they are interviewing non rated pilots for the A320 fleet right now.
I don't know what the requirements are but if your application is selected, you are invited to attend the selection process in Bahrain: group exercise, problem solving and interview.

Yep, no SIM in GFA's assessment. But be prepared for a really through interview and technical tests. Just a matter of knowing your stuff and getting it done. No big deal.
About the other comment regarding NO fully-furnished, THIS IS  . EVERYONE HERE GETS THE HOUSING ALLOWANCE ALONG WITH THE UTILITIES ALLOWANCE. WHAT THEY TELL YOU IN THE INTERVIEW IS THE PACKAGE YOU'LL GET. THEY ARE REALLY STRAIGHT-FORWARD IN THIS POINT.
GOOD LUCK!!!

I too have an interview with gulf air in september.
From what I have found the process seems to be four tests, english comprehension, and 3 others which I do not have any solid info on. This is followed by a group exercise and then an interview.
Some guys went for an interview in August, it would be very helpfull if they gave us some clues.
Best of luck everyone.

Buddies,
If there is no simulator test , be aware that people are still tested during the A320 rating.
The A320 F/O selected to be CBT trainers are asked to warn the chiefs about any difficulties felt by any new joiners .
Recently a brazilian type rated F/O was about to fail during his sim sessions , he was type rated already...
the level of proficiency is definetely high in the simulator...
Two egyptian guys were nicely stopped after stand-in sessions after having spent 6 months with the company...
So be prepared to a tough rating ,guys.:O
