Hey there, Willfy!

There IS terrrrrrrtiary edjumacation in Doha with many new and very smart colleges like the [Canadian] College of the North Atlantic (canuck staff) etc - but having said that, very few expats put there kids through here, as local employers won't pay those fees and they ain't cheap!
Most send their kids of that age to UK/Oz anywhere else. Also there is the large lack of attraction in having your younger generation inexperienced [in the ME] teenage kids of that age (especially girlies) here amongst the local scene members, where it is just all too easy to be led astray and spend your life partying in all the wrong places!
If you search 'education' or 'colleges in Doha', you should pick up the CCNA and other local establishments as they advertise widely. Ther is also a Cornel medical facility here now - almost getting modern, but not as smart as Abu Dhabi's higher level educational scene yet! They are all aimed at the locals, not expat - although education is primarily in English (or the Canadian/US versions).
Hope this helps!

:ok:

Further to what Oracle says, see
this site (http://www.qf.edu.qa/) and look in the tabs across the top of the page for details of the various universities now setting up in Qatar's "Education City": Texas A&M, Carnegie Mellon, etc.
