Gulf Air and Etihad Ticket Agreements

Etihad are accepting B13's from Gulf Air. Its the only airline Etihad currently have an agreement with. Its good if you want to get away now as Etihad's flights out of LHR are near empty and inbound today off the EY 301 03 APR AUH-LHR saw 4 pax.

Poor loads! Why do these Middle East Carriers decide at the drop of a hat to fly somewhere without getting a proper infrastructure in place or a sales platform? I know money is not the object but its a poor advert to have 4 on a flight.....
I hear they have no office yet or anything?
Getting ex BA Management is a good move but will they tolerate this kind of set up?
Its like QR - the top management has all gone now - leaving behind a clueless bunch (bar a few).
